Fulfillment Policy

Electric Railroaders Association, Inc. (ERA) sells periodicals, PDF copies of periodicals, and books. All sales of these items are final. Electric Railroaders Association, Inc. also operates local, regional and international trips. The refund/cancellation policy for such trips is shown below.

Delivery Policy

Books and periodicals available for sale will be shipped within two to three weeks, but usually within a week via USPS. Shipping is available to all local and international locations.

Refund & Return Policy

All sales are final for PDF copies of periodicals. Physical copies of periodicals and books may be returned to ERA; P.O. Box 3323, New York, NY 10163-3323 if damaged and will be replaced, or a refund will be issued if desired. Claims of non-receipt of periodicals or books will be honored with replacement.

Cancellation Policy

ERA memberships and subscriptions are sold on an annual basis and are not refundable. Following is our refund policy on local trips, regional conventions, and international trips: 

Local Trips:

• All credit card payments: Up to 3.5% deducted from refund based on non-refundable credit card fees paid by ERA.
• Cancellation up to one week before the trip: Full refund less credit card fees.
• Cancellation on or after one week before the trip: No refund.

Regional Conventions and International Trips:

• All credit card payments: Up to 3.5% deducted from refund based on non-refundable credit card fees paid by ERA.
• Cancellation up to 60 days before the trip or convention: Full refund less credit card fees.
• Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before the trip or convention: 10% cancellation fee deducted from refund.
• Cancellation between one and three weeks before the trip or convention: 50% cancellation fee deducted from refund.
• Cancellation on or after one week before the trip or convention: No refund.
• Travel insurance: We recommend that participants purchase travel insurance to allow reimbursement for cancellation fees for covered reasons.
