Join us this June as Ron Yee presents a railfan’s tour of Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from his December 2016 visit.
Ron’s digital slideshow will showcase the area’s great blend of light rail, people-mover, rapid transit and commuter rail systems that are coordinated into one mass transit service for the entire region.
If there is time, there will be a brief overview of the opening of the Second Avenue Subway on New Year’s Day 2017 as well as the vintage train operations celebrating the 2017 opening days for the NY Mets (Train of Many Colors on the line) and the NY Yankees (Low-Vs on the and lines), and the centennial of the elevated line on April 21, also with the Train of Many Colors.
