MNYBA/MBS welcomes our fellow ERA members to join us on Saturday, September 17th as we travel south, aboard a comfortable Coach Tours bus, to visit the following places of interest:
We plan to visit The New Jersey Transportation Heritage Center’s Historic Bus Festival at the Starr Tours Garage in Trenton shortly after opening, giving riders a chance to inspect the equipment and visit the sales tables. Admission to the festival is included in the fare. This is a wonderful opportunity to see classic buses and catch up with your friends.
Our Coach Tours bus will take us to Philadelphia where we will have lunch at the famous Reading Terminal Market, followed by a visit to SEPTA’s Frankford Depot and Transportation Center.
There will be an optional ride on SEPTA’s Route 66 trackless trolley to the City Line Loop where our Coach Tours bus will be waiting to take us back to NYC. The Route 66 ride is not included in the fare.
We plan to return to NYC around 6:30 p.m. There will be no dinner stop. Please join us on a wonderful outing!
