If you have any problems, email Bob Newhouser at firstname.lastname@example.org, or on the night of the meeting call or text Bob at 917-482-4235. On the night of the program, Bob’s time to assist you may be limited and he may refer you to someone on his team, so our apologies in advance if we have to move on. “San Francisco’s F-Line” by Peter Ehrlich chronicles streetcar operations from 1860 to 1982, planning for a permanent line, the Trolley Festivals of the 1980s, construction of the F-Line and its opening in 1995, extension to the Wharf and expansion plans, an overview of other historic and modern streetcars in America, and much, much more!
This is the new fourth edition of “San Francisco’s F-Line,” published in October 2019. It incorporates updates and changes since the book’s original publication in October 2012, and the third edition in April 2014.

With the startup of our very successful Zoom programs, we are also improving distribution of the Bulletin. Members who currently receive the print version of the Bulletin will also now receive the PDF version if we have your e-mail address on file. This will ensure that you receive all notifications of forthcoming Zoom programs. Previously, only e-mail Bulletin subscribers received these notifications. We want to maximize Zoom access to as many members as possible!
Sadly, due to the ongoing regional Covid-19 restrictions on visits to establishments and facilities, ERA day trips, shop and other site visits are cancelled for 2020. We will look at scheduling such trips in 2021.
